Die Islamische Widerstandsbewegung (Hamas) begrüßt den heutigen Aufruf des UN-Sicherheitsrates zu einem sofortigen Waffenstillstand und betont die Notwendigkeit eines dauerhaften Waffenstillstands, der zum Rückzug aller zionistischen Streitkräfte aus dem Gazastreifen und zur Rückkehr der Vertriebenen in die Häuser, die sie verlassen haben, führen muss.
Wir bekräftigen auch unsere Bereitschaft, uns auf einen sofortigen Gefangenenaustausch einzulassen, der zur Freilassung von Gefangenen auf beiden Seiten führt.
Im Zusammenhang mit dem Text der Entschließung betonen wir die Bedeutung der Bewegungsfreiheit der palästinensischen Bürger und des Zugangs zu allen humanitären Bedürfnissen für alle Bewohner in allen Gebieten des Gazastreifens, einschließlich schwerer Ausrüstung zur Beseitigung von Schutt, damit wir unsere Märtyrer begraben können, die seit Monaten unter den Trümmern liegen.
Hamas fordert den Sicherheitsrat auf, Druck auf die Besatzung auszuüben, damit sie sich an den Waffenstillstand hält und den Krieg des Völkermords und der ethnischen Säuberung gegen unser Volk beendet.
Hamas bekräftigt das Recht unseres palästinensischen Volkes, seinen unabhängigen, souveränen palästinensischen Staat mit Jerusalem als Hauptstadt zu errichten, sowie das Recht auf Rückkehr und Selbstbestimmung im Einklang mit internationalen Resolutionen und internationalem Recht.
Die Hamas-Bewegung würdigt die Bemühungen der Brüder in Algerien und aller Länder im Sicherheitsrat, die unser Volk unterstützt haben und unterstützen und daran arbeiten, die zionistische Aggression und den Vernichtungskrieg zu stoppen.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) welcomes the UN Security Council’s call today for an immediate ceasefire, and we stress the necessity of reaching a permanent ceasefire that leads to the withdrawal of all Zionist forces from the Gaza Strip, and the return of the displaced to the homes from which they left.
We also affirm our readiness to engage in an immediate prisoner exchange process that leads to the release of prisoners on both sides.
In the context of the text of the resolution, we emphasize the importance of the freedom of movement of Palestinian citizens and the access of all humanitarian needs to all residents, in all areas of the Gaza Strip, including heavy equipment to remove rubble, so that we can bury our martyrs who have remained under the rubble for months.
Hamas calls on the Security Council to pressure the occupation to adhere to the ceasefire and stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our people.
Hamas affirms the right of our Palestinian people to establish their independent, sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return and self-determination, in accordance with international resolutions and international law.
The Hamas movement appreciates the efforts of the brothers in Algeria and all the countries in the Security Council that supported and support our people, and are working to stop the Zionist aggression and war of annihilation.
