Infatti, alla data del 27 febbraio 1514, dopo 322 anni di permanenza dei Cistercensi, i monaci bianchi di San Bruno tornavano in possesso della loro Certosa e delle reliquie del fondatore dell'Ordine. Il 27 febbraio 2014, ricorre il cinquecentenario della riconsegna della Certosa di Serra San Bruno all'Ordine dei Certosini. Infatti, alla data del 27 febbraio 1514, dopo 322 anni di permanenza dei Cistercensi, i monaci bianchi di San Bruno tornavano in possesso della loro Certosa e delle reliquie del fondatore dell'Ordine. Ma cosa accadde in quel 1194 quando, per volere del papa Celestino III e del re Tancredi di Sicilia, i Certosini furono allontanati dal loro eremo e subentrarono i Cistercensi?
