This is a generally troubling episode, because the police officer was found guilty of murder. How can someone be guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt, when there is very reasonable doubt as to whether his actions even contributed to Floyd’s death? I saw that he just pled guilty to tax evasion. He doesn’t seem like a good guy, and he probably did commit misconduct, but I can’t see how he could be guilty of murder. The justice system bows to the mob. That is good for no one.
