@credo-Petty insults prove you have nothing to back up your argument. THat's ridiculous to suggest studying the Israel of the Old Testament. I prefer the New testament. The Jews are still waiting for their Messiah, who has already come and gone.

Israel IS very much like the aparteid South Africa was 60 years ago. The Palestinians are forced to live mostly in the West Bank and Gaza. The few Palestinian majority villages inside Israel are policed heavilly. Palestinians are discriminated against for jobs in Israel. Jews in Israel are treated like gold, while the Palestinians, and Catholic/Greek Orthodox Christians, are considered 2nd class citizens.
Jews in Israel spit on Catholic pilgrims, nuns and friars. When confronted by this disgusting practice, a rabbi defended it by saying "THat's our custom".
If I had to take sides in this current Israeli/Hamas/Hezbollah war, I'd side with Israel, but that doesn't mean I approve of them socially, and also I would be 100% against the USA fighting with/for Israel with troops etc. in the event this war gets larger.
Israel can sink or swim on it's own, without the USA rushing in to save it.
