Excellent presentation however don't forget what the catechism teaches. Yes, God is merciful but He is also just and forgiven sins warrant a temporal punishment. Some saints went to confession daily. Therefore can we consider ourselves worthy to receive Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament going weeks without confession?
