Powerless Traditionis Seniores: 60 Young Faithful – Out of 200 - Gather for Sunday Mass

On the first Sunday after Francis’ Motu (Im-)proprio Traditionis Custodes, more than sixty faithful gathered in the 12th century church of Chemire-sur-Sarthe, Western France, for a Roman Mass.

Chemire-sur-Sarthe is a village of 200 souls in Angers diocese where many churches have been abandoned. The Mass, the third within a year, ended with a common lunch in the village park.

For (July 18) “it is good to see that many families in this area bear witness to the liveliness and youthfulness of Catholics attached to the Traditional Mass.”
