I have been listening to Fr Rippinger (#07 on Sensustraditionis.org, I think.) He mentions that the first sin was that they wanted to decide what was good and what was evil. This cartoon captures it perfectly. The synod is not about finding truth or saving souls. It is about demanding that “we decide.”
