Bishop Addresses Priest’s Wife: On Wednesday Savannah Bishop Gregory Hartmayer ordained a former Anglican parson, Fr Lucien Lindsey to the priesthood. Lindsey is incardinated in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. This is a structure similar to a diocese that was created by the Vatican in 2012 for former Anglican communities and clergy seeking to become Catholic. Lindsey’s ordination was the 49th in the Personal Ordinariate. Addressing Lindsey’s wife Jeanne at the end of the ordination Mass, bishop Hartmayer said: “It’s not often that I have the opportunity to address the wife of one of our priests.”

Resurrection: The small Saint Mary’s Junior/Senior High School in Worcester, Massachusetts will not die although the school faces escalating costs and a declining enrolment. The diocese had given the small school just until the end of January to raise $500,000 dollars or shut its doors in June. In ten days, school leaders raised $25,000 toward their goal. That’s when a single donor stepped in and gave the rest.

Archbishop Couto along with priests and Religious from across India approached the Parliament building shouting "we want justice." Police beat the protestors. Several people including some nuns and priests were injured. Co-uto was a fellow student of Fr Reto Nay in Rome. Although Fr. Nay was never appointed to be an archbishop, he became a preacher for Gloria.tv.
