Milan Archdiocese: A Used Envelope With 90'000 Euros
On June 26th, a person entered the sacristy of Milan Cathedral handing over a used envelope to Archpriest Gianantonio Borgonovo saying, "Here, bring this to the Cardinal". The envelope contained a cashier's check of 90'000 Euros. The donor has remained anonymous. Leaving the place he mumbled, "This is my money." The letter contained no name but indicated an intended use for the money: the archdiocese's Family and Work Fund, instituted to help families in difficulties.
