Not approved by the Church, sorry. There are some things about it which are contrary to Catholic teaching.
Do any of those passing judgement on the authenticity of Medjugorje have any firsthand knowlege or experience? It seems that there were all kinds of experts with impressive credientials that claimed that both Lourdes and Fatima, (prior to Vatican approval), could not be authentic and gave plenty of "evidence". It seems we have a situation today where some pick and choose which Vatican decisions they accept and which they reject based on their own preferences. While I wait for the church's final judgement and will accept that judgement, I have been there twice and have not found anything firsthand that points to fraud. As a retired Police Detective, I have seen a fair share of fraud and deception.
The seers themselves said that the "apparition" showed up as satan and then turned into Mary.
God is renewing the Church through cults and false apparitions because that's all He has to work with. Is that cynical enough?
