As he has previously done, Francis sent a July 27 message to the current Medjugorje Youth Festival.
Francis writes very piously about the rosary, Eucharistic adoration, and God’s will as a priceless treasure.
This message is an endorsement of the alleged apparitions of Our Lady – ongoing for four decades but full of banalities and contradictions, much like the Novus Ordo Church.

Not approved by the Church, sorry. There are some things about it which are contrary to Catholic teaching.
Do any of those passing judgement on the authenticity of Medjugorje have any firsthand knowlege or experience? It seems that there were all kinds of experts with impressive credientials that claimed that both Lourdes and Fatima, (prior to Vatican approval), could not be authentic and gave plenty of "evidence". Do any of those passing judgement on the authenticity of Medjugorje have any firsthand knowlege or experience? It seems that there were all kinds of experts with impressive credientials that claimed that both Lourdes and Fatima, (prior to Vatican approval), could not be authentic and gave plenty of "evidence". It seems we have a situation today where some pick and choose which Vatican decisions they accept and which they reject based on their own preferences. While I wait for the church's final judgement and will accept that judgement, I have been there twice and have not found anything firsthand that points to fraud. As a retired Police Detective, I have seen a fair share of fraud and deception.
You know how much it cost to keep up their life styles. Its Disney land for Catholics and don't blame Francis for this mess. "Famously, in November 2013 the pontiff declared that Mary “is not a postmistress, delivering messages every day,” in the context of answering a question about Medjugorje." Contrary to what you may have heard by its proponents... Medjugorje is NOT the fulfillment of Fatima! The 5 First Saturdays of Reparation to the IHM, The Consecration of Russia to the IHM and The release of the Great Secret of Fatima ARE God's Solution. Fr. Malachi Martin (reader of the Third Secret of Fatima in February 1960) during an interview with Bernard Janzen in the 90's declared, "Medjugorje is a Satanic Hoax."
Bergoglio approves of the very thing which Our Lady of Fatima would have rejected.

Traditionally, and in keeping with the principle of subsidiarity, the judgement of the ordinary of the diocese (the local bishop) has always been the standard for approbation or condemnation of an apparition. In the case of Medjugorje, the Bishop of Mostar did something unique, powerful and significant.
In his letter to Mr. Thierry Boutet (the editor / secretary general of Famille Chrétienne), the ordinary of the Diocese of Mostar, Bishop Ratko Perić, says he judges the alleged apparitions to be False and Not Supernatural.

On the basis of the serious study of the case by 30 of our ‘studiosi’ [academics] (well three Commissions), on my episcopal experience of five years in the Diocese, on the scandalous disobedience that surrounds the phenomenon, on the lies that are at times put into the mouth of the “Madonna”, on the unusual repetition of “messages” of over 16 years, on the strange way that the “spiritual directors” of the so-called “visionaries” accompany them through the world making propaganda of them, on the practice that the “Madonna” appears at the “fiat” (let her come!) of the “visionaries”,
my conviction and position is not only non constat de supernaturalitate [the supernaturality is not proven] but also the other formula constat de non supernaturalitate [the non-supernaturality is proven] of the apparitions or revelations of Medjugorje [...]
