True many Protestants ignore - even despise Our Lady. One fundamentalist guy I got into a heated argument with said she wasn't important and the [blasphemy alert] "God could have used a dog to birth Jesus". I stopped and "shook the dust" from my feet (metaphorically) and left that man in his error. Too far gone.
