The Holy FamilySirach 3:2-6, 12-14
“The Lord sets a father in honor over his children and confirms a mother’s authority over her sons.”
The joy of the child is the joy of the father. The authority of the mother is a gentle teaching.
Colossians 3:12-21
“Giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
…in thanksgiving to God and in relationship (religion) with one another.
Matthew 2:13-15, 19-23
“Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt.”
It is sad to have to flee to avoid evil. We pray with everyone that peace and joy may spread more freely from heart to heart.
