The Israelites were exiled due to their sinfulness, turning away from God and worshiping false gods. Despite God’s teachings and the example of Jesus Christ, people continue to justify their sins and reject the truth. To truly love God, one must strive to conform their heart to the truth, overcome weaknesses, and demonstrate love through actions, not just words.
