Feminist and porn activist Olga Borisova asked watchdog Roskomnadzor over Twitter for alternatives. She received the answer: "Go and make friends in real life instead of watching X-rated films.”

False Compassion: Cardinal Raymond Burke, a expert in the field, has criticized the streamlining of the marriage annulment procedure in a talk given at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. According to Burke the streamlining violates the Church’s obligation to determine that a given marriage is truly null. He pointed at the dangers of “sentimentalism” and “false compassion,” which reflect an “anti-law-mentality” that afflicts the Church since the end of the Second Vatican Council.
Discrimination: The Christian schools in Israel, most of them Catholic, consider pushing for a close-down of the pilgrimage places in the Holy Land in order to press the Israeli government to increase their funding. 47 schools are striking since the beginning of the new school year. Israel has continously reduced the support of the school from 65 to presently 29%. On the contrary Jewish religious schools are funded to 100% by the state although they often teach only a limited curriculum and are not inclusive.

A purported marriage being actually invalid (not having come into existence) is by necessity very rare. Yet many tribunals declare the vast majority (US - 98%) of accused marriages to be null. Preposterous. A most stringent process is required to find the objective truth.

If I understand it correctly, the Pope's 'streamlining' is just moving the decision-making power out of the hands of a tribunal and into the hands of the bishop. He hasn't done anything about actually changing the rules regarding who can get an annulment. The reason why they made this decision was because there were people waiting 1, 2, 5 years or more in waiting for their case to be heard. The idea …More
If I understand it correctly, the Pope's 'streamlining' is just moving the decision-making power out of the hands of a tribunal and into the hands of the bishop. He hasn't done anything about actually changing the rules regarding who can get an annulment. The reason why they made this decision was because there were people waiting 1, 2, 5 years or more in waiting for their case to be heard. The idea is that if the bishop has the power to grant the annulment, then they can get it faster.
An annulment is not a divorce. It is recognizing that a particular marriage never existed to begin with, because of some special circumstance, such as a person already being married to someone else when they got married, or because they were relatives, or because they entered the marriage without doing so by their own free will, etc. A person who is validly married cannot get an annulment; the streamlining is not supposed to change that.
