Bishop Robert Vasa, of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, California, formally installed Fr. Eric Freed as Pastor of St. Bernard Church in Eureka, California, on Sunday, August 21, 2011. Fr. Eric was appointed Pastor of St.Bernard Church in January 2011, following the reassignment of the previous pastor, Fr. H. Loren Allen, to Occidental, California. Fr. Eric's Installation Mass coincided with the 125th Anniversary Celebration of St. Bernard Church, which was held on the previous day, August 20, on the Feast of St. Bernard.
