Francis: Neither in the Vatican nor in Argentina
Apart from being obvious to everyone that this plan is not realistic, Francis has never worked in a parish and therefore has romantic ideas about it. Besides, there are very few churches in Rome where there is still a need for confessors.
Francis, however, denied that he was planning to resign. In the same interview, he said that murderous politicians who support abortion should be given communion if they ask for it. Such casting of pearls before swine is a "pastoral dimension" for Francis.
When it comes to banning the Roman Rite, Francis does not care about the "pastoral dimension".
