First "Episcopal Vicaress" Already Led Parish, Advocated for Women Priests
She is the first of her kind in the German-speaking world, working for an anti-Catholic official named Bishop Josef Marketz.
Barbara Velik-Frank recently described her role to KleineZeitung.at as a "strong symbolic sign" and pompously compared it to that of a "minister" in the state.
Her intention is to give space to "different beliefs and prayer practices". Madame "Episcopal Vicaress" has already led the parish in Thörl-Maglern.
She wrote a dissertation (2016) on - who would have guessed – the priestly ordination of women, specifically the long-forgotten simulation of an "ordination" of seven women on a ship in Linz in 2002.
In a YouTube interview from 2021, Barbara Velik-Frank said that there should be women priests in Central Europe even if the southern hemisphere was "not ready". The fact that only men can be ordained is "not fair" to her.
The Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt is internationally known for two blasphemies currently on display in the church of St. Jakob in Villach: a Crucified Christ as a tightrope walker and a man-high grid containing 49 pieces of twenty dismembered Christ statues (below).
