"Very Moving": But Will It Also Move the Bishops? (Video)

Paisley Bishop John Keenan, Scotland, shared on FaceBook.com a heartbreaking video showing simple faithful who call on the British bishops to open their churches (below).

Keenan calls the plea twice “very moving” and adds that “this is not an easy judgement for our bishops to make.”

He wants “to ‘listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches’” and would “appreciate discussion and feedback” - probably in order to gain time.

Keenan is one of the best British bishops. During his studies in Rome, in the early Nineties, he was a staunched Catholic in a time when this didn't help the future prospects of a seminarian.
