Humanae Vitae Is "Infallible And Unchangeable” – Cardinal Müller

Humanae Vitae which bans artificial contraception is “materially infallible" according to Cardinal Gerhard Müller because it belongs to revealed and natural anthropology.

Talking at a book presentation in Rome (March 7), Müller underlined that the pope does not need to make an ex cathedra declaration about this matter and that the pope has no power to change or relax the ban.

Müller added that the same is true regarding the impossibility of a female priesthood.
