Q: Holy Father, what would you say to bishops & priests who're concerned that synodality may diminish their authority as pastors?
Pope Leo XIV : "Priests need to be invited to open their hearts & take part in this process. Oftentimes resistances come out from fear & lack of knowledge."
We all don't run on the same speed, we need to be patient with e/o. Rather than a few running ahead & leaving a lot behind which could cause a break in ecclesial experience, we need to understand where's the resistance coming from & what we can do to encourage communion."

He speaks more like some politician, guru or a life coach. That doesn't sound like a Catholic Pope

As a Catholic priest I reject synodality because it is not Catholic - Period! I believe in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church - not the Francis/Leo new synodal anti-church. The Church needs to spend more time talking to God and about God, and listening to God through Scripture and the Sacred Tradition of the Church, than talking to itself and about itself with no one listening or giving a dam. Take your pop psychology jargon and throw it in the Tiber! Preach our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel; teach, uphold and defend the fullness of the Catholic Faith and worship God in the Traditional Latin Roman Rite of Holy Mass. Can you listen to that? Quit talking bulls~~t and get on with the true mission of the Church. Laudetur Iesus Christus, nunc et semper!
