Dishonesty: Bergoglio Is a "Master" of Doublespeak
Doublespeak consists in rejecting logic and following an ideology that sells one concept today and its opposite tomorrow.
Francis has even developed the concept of doublespeak beyond Orwell, writes Rizza.
In many of his statements and attitudes, the same concept is not referred to one way one day and the opposite the next, but is expressed in such a way as to be able to express an affirmation and its exact opposite at the same time. Rizza gives just a few examples:
- There is too much faggotry in the Church, says Francis, but at the same time a seminarian who was rejected for his homosexual tendencies is invited to continue.
- A ceremony is held in the Vatican to ask for "forgiveness" for the alleged sins committed against illegal immigrants, but at the same time the penalties for those who enter the Vatican illegally are increased.
- Abortion is murder and those who perform it are hired assassins, but at the same time Francis privately visits a well-known abortionist and pro-abortion propagandist, describing her - the "murderer" - as "one of the greats of Italy today".
- Gossip is a "grave sin", but at the same time statements are made and books and interviews are published in which gossip is the master.
- The Church is open to "todos todos", but at the same time Catholics are excluded.
Rizza observes that Francis's double-talk is becoming triple-talk.
When a Protestant woman married to a Catholic asked if she could receive communion with her husband, Francis managed to answer yes, no and don't know at the same time.
Rizza believes that this is a "triumph of relativism", but it is only a triumph of dishonesty.
