The Archdiocese of Miami held its 13th annual 'Archbishop's Motorcycle Ride' on Sunday. It is a fundraising event in which Archbishop Thomas Wenski leads a parade of bikers.
The annual event benefits St. Luke's Center. The center helps people struggling with addiction. But Monsignor Wenski admitted to CatholicNewsAgency.com that the fundraiser's $25 entry fee (250-300 motorcycles) doesn't raise a huge amount of money.
Archbishop Wenski is an avid motorcyclist and rides a Harley-Davidson Street Glide.
