Erklärung der Volksfront zur Befreiung Palästinas (PFLP), 25. März 2025

Die Volksfront zur Befreiung Palästinas (PFLP) bekräftigt, dass die heutige Verabschiedung einer Resolution des UN-Sicherheitsrates über einen sofortigen Waffenstillstand ein Schritt in Richtung einer dauerhaften Einstellung der Aggression gegen den Gazastreifen sein muss, der die Belagerung bedingungslos aufhebt, alle Vertriebenen in die Häuser zurückbringt, aus denen sie vertrieben wurden, und ein Abkommen über den Austausch von Geiseln beschließt, das abgeschlossen werden muss. Dadurch werden unsere Gefangenen aus den Gefängnissen der Besatzer befreit, und am wichtigsten ist die Verpflichtung der Besatzer, diesen Beschluss umzusetzen.

Die Front vertrat die Auffassung, dass die Annahme dieser Resolution durch den Sicherheitsrat, trotz der Versuche der amerikanischen Regierung und ihrer Verbündeten, sie abzuschwächen, zu verwässern, ihres Inhalts zu berauben und sie mit einem vorübergehenden und nicht dauerhaften Waffenstillstand zu verknüpfen, bestätigt, dass die ganze Welt die Nase voll hat von dem zionistischen Gebilde angesichts des schrecklichen Völkermordkrieges, den sie gegen unser Volk im Gazastreifen führt, und dass die amerikanische Regierung es nicht ertragen konnte, ein weiteres Veto einzulegen, nachdem der Zorn der öffentlichen Meinung über die Haltung der US-Regierung zu dieser Aggression eskaliert war.

Die Front würdigte die Anstrengungen, die das Schwesterland Algerien zusammen mit einer großen Zahl von Ländern, die das Thema unterstützen, unternommen hat, um diesen Beschluss zu erreichen, sowie den anhaltenden Druck, die Aggression und den Vernichtungskrieg nachhaltig zu beenden.

Die Volksfront schloss ihre Erklärung mit dem Hinweis, dass die Lektion in der Umsetzung dieser Resolution liegt und dass nun die Vereinten Nationen am Zug sind, um die Besatzung zu zwingen, sich an die Resolution zu halten, indem sie einen klaren Beschluss zur vollständigen und nachhaltigen Beendigung der Aggression fassen, zumal die Besatzung in ihrer gesamten Geschichte keine einzige internationale Resolution umgesetzt hat.

Statement by the PFLP

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirmed that today’s adoption of a resolution by the UN Security Council on an immediate ceasefire must be a step towards a sustainable cessation of aggression against the Gaza Strip, breaking the siege unconditionally, returning all displaced persons to the homes from which they were displaced, and concluding a hostage exchange deal to be completed. Through it, our prisoners will be liberated from the occupation prisons, and most important of all is obligating the occupation to implement this decision.

The Front considered that the adoption of this resolution by the Security Council, despite attempts to weaken it, dilute it, empty it of its content, and link it to a temporary and not sustainable ceasefire by the American administration and its allies, confirms that the entire world is fed up with the Zionist entity in the face of the horror of the war of genocide it is committing against our people in the Gaza Strip, and that the American administration It could not bear the repercussions of voting with another veto after the escalation of public opinion’s anger over the US administration’s positions on the aggression.

The Front appreciated the efforts made by sister Algeria, along with a large number of countries supporting the issue, to reach this decision, and its continued pressure to stop the aggression and war of extermination in a sustainable manner.

The Front concluded its statement by stressing that the lesson is in implementing this resolution and that the ball is now in the court of the United Nations to force the occupation to adhere to the resolution by adopting a clear decision to stop the aggression completely and sustainably, especially since the occupation has not implemented a single international resolution throughout its history.
