Fr Altman is excellent in his review of scripture but does not offer a single word from Nostra Aetate to support his conclusion that it teaches the equality of all religions. In fact, Nostra Aetate confirms the supremacy of Christ and the perennial teaching of the Catholic Church which "proclaims, and ever must proclaim Christ 'THE way, the truth, and the life' (John 14:6)" (paragraph 4). Also: it is "the burden of the Church's preaching to proclaim the cross of Christ as the sign of God's all-embracing love and as the fountain from which EVERY grace flows." Those are exclusive words. If we are to hope for conversion of all to Christ we need to be in fellowship with them. That's all Nostra Aetate says.

Fr Altman is a superb preacher in excellent command of scripture and he has great courage in defending the faith but I notice in condemning Nostra Aetate he does not quote a single line from it. Nostra Aetate in fact says that although glimmers of truth can be found in all people and all major religions, the Holy Catholic Church "proclaims, and ever must proclaim Christ 'the way, the truth, and the life' (John 14:6), in whom men may find the fullness of religious life, in whom God has reconciled all things to Himself.(4) It also states that in the Church's work and mission we must "not teach anything that does not conform to the truth of the Gospel and the spirit of Christ."(4) This presumably includes the exclusive claims of the Lord to be the only way to the Father. Further: "It is, therefore, the burden of the Church's preaching to proclaim the cross of Christ as the sign of God's all-embracing love and as the fountain from which every grace flows." (4) This magisterial teaching does not deserve to be trashed and we need to unite behind the cross of the Lord Jesus in the Church He founded. It only takes five minutes to read it.

Prevost's apostate Nostra Aetate, Absolute contempt for the Reign of Christ

According to the apostate Robert Prevost, Jews do not need Christ to be saved. Prevost maliciously deceives Jews in the name of the Church and closes the only door to salvation for them, since Jesus Christ taught that whoever does not have him, the Son of God, also does not have the Father.
