BREAKING: Hope for baby Charlie Gard currently sentenced to death

UPDATE Friday, July 7, 2017 A new High Court hearing by Great Ormond Street Hospital has been requested in light of new fresh information.

Here is a good summary of several encouraging events in the past week. For a full appreciation of the hardship Charlie and his parents have had to endure, please read and follow links below.

UPDATE: “New-York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center have agreed to admit and evaluate Charlie, provided that arrangements are made to safely transfer him to our facility, legal hurdles are cleared, and we receive emergency approval from the FDA for an experimental treatment as appropriate,” the hospital said in a statement.

Charlie Gard's parents have fought for his life through the UK court system to EU judges who failed to intervene in a chilling decision to remove Charlie from life support and also not permit the parents to take him home to die.

A crowdfund has received nearly $2 million dollars for the parents' request to have Charlie receive experimental treatment in the U.S. The Vatican, after a disgraceful initial siding with the pro-death UK has since offered a truly Catholic response.

Pope Francis has communicated support and President Trump has expressed "delight" in any way Charlie's parents can be helped.

Now Prime Minister Theresa May has sought to reverse the embarrassing position of appearing as callous and lifeless as the UK law clearly enshrines and says any new information is always welcome.

Labour's Seema Malhotra is the family's MP and has stated doctors could say within three months whether Charlie was responding to the experimental treatment available.

Let's continue to lift Charlie Gard and his parents, all medical and legal and all others offering any form of help, in prayer.
