Deepening darkness as the U.S. Government caters to the abortion lobby
Monsignor Pope, in his recent NCR article, The Darnkess Is Deepening In a Land Overshadowded by Abortion, wrote:
Throughout the globe, terrorism, growing religious and ethnic strife, and moral decline has reached dizzying, rapid rates and seems increasingly irreversible. Moral debasement and sexual confusion in the West seem to know no depth. Justice Robert Bork once wrote of how the West was “slouching toward Gomorrah.” But now our slouch has become a rapid sprint toward the edge of an abyss, and the pace of the decline is shockingly rapid.
Noted below are indications that moral decline reaching a, "dizzying, rapid rate" in each branch of the U.S. Government.
Legislative
Senate Democrats are calling the House Select Investigative Panel On Infant Lives' investigation into illegal sale of baby body parts and babies born alive by Planned Parenthood and LeRoy Carhart nothing more than, a targeted witch hunt by anti-abortion extremists in an attempt to target abortionists. They are calling for an end to the investigation.
Executive
President Obama - in this infamous video clip, pronounces if his daughters were to make a mistake, he would not want his daughters punished with a baby.
Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton's daughter Chelsea shamefully laments her grandmother not having access to abortion.
Judicial
In the SCOTUS decision released yesterday, June 27, invalidating Texas abortion clinic restrictions, Clarence Thomas wrote in his dissenting opinion that the decision, "exemplifies the Court's troubling tendency to bend the rules when any effort to limit abortion, or even to speak in opposition to abortion, is at issue."
