Syncretist President Consecrates Country to Our Lady

Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro consecrated his country on October 24 to Our Lady at the presidential chapel.

He shared the consecration prayer on Instagram.com “with the Catholic priests of Brazil” asking them "humbly" to recite a consecration in their Eucharists or privately. Here is the text,

"Queen of Heaven and Earth, as Head of the Brazilian Nation, I renew that request that the Redemptress Princess Isabel [+1921] once made to you: may you be the Supreme Ruler of this country. Bolsonaro is a lapsed Catholic who was "re-baptised" by a Protestant, is twice divorced, lives with a divorced concubine, attends mostly a Baptist service but also received Novus Ordo Communion.

He will likely lose an October 30 run-off election against former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, a socialist close to the oligarchs.

It could be a start for his return to the faith. Its not ideal that is made during a time of election that can be seen as a little hypocritical, but sometimes despair also can be part of a good contrition.
Now the thing is, he can't consecrate anything because he is not a priest. I don't know if its journalistic liberty, but what he can do is place his vows to convert and be a catholic president, and then the head of the bishops would do the consecration of Brazil. Too bad that the Brazilian conference is ruled by communist bishops who profess their public faith in Jesus.... oh wait ... Lula da Silva.

O que pode haver de mais valoroso em alguém que busca na fé a salvação para sí e para quem tanto ama?
Nos tempos atuais, o presidente não teme em dizer na ONU que defende a vida desde a concepção, contra a ideologia de gênero, contra liberação das drogas, pela liberdade de expressão e contra o comunismo. Exatamente tudo que a Sta.Igreja entende como certo.
Em nosso país há um conflito de forças poderosas, que desejam pelos demômios a volta de Lula, um homem que roubou a nós e financiou ditaduras com provas abundantes mas sufocadas pela nossa impressa, que tbm o deseja presidente.

@Angela Maria a doutrina não defende a liberdade de expressão isso é um conceito liberal. Aliás a Igreja censurava livros e publicações que fossem prejudiciais à fé.

Apesar dos pesares ,o Presidente Bolsonaro, é um ótimo presidente,a favor da família,da pátria, não é corrupto,e ex presidiário como Luis Ignácio da Silva,que como um passe de mágica conseguiu que sua ficha fosse limpa.As população aqui no Brasil é maioria a favor de Bolsonaro,com a graça de Deus,ele vai ganhar,vcs não podem se basear nos meios de comunicação brasileira, são TDS comprados.

Where once some countriles were at 1.0% Protestant and 90% Catholic, are now as much as 35% Protestant and 60% Catholic. Before Vatican II, the Catholic Faith was so strong in Latin America with rich traditions and the Roman Rite Latin Mass that Protestants such as Pentecostols had all but given up ever making a dent in Roman Catholicism. But after the introduction of Vatican II reforms, the Novus Ordo, and "Liberation Tehology", people fled from the Catholic Church by the millions. The reign of heretic Pope Francis has made the situation 100% worse.

Brazil specifically was and is plagued with communist bishops since the 50s. One named Carlos Costa was excommunicated by Pius XII for funding his own "catholic" church. He literally would sell parish property to fund his guerrilla army for the revolution and to take farm properties.
