A fire inside a nightclub in downtown Santa Maria, 290 km from the capital, Porto Alegre, left at least 180 people dead, according to the Civil Police, and several wounded during the early hours of Sunday (27). The death toll may reach one hundred. The flames may have been caused by a flare launched from the stage by a band member who performed.

Instead of listening to the attendant telling you about the security exits and procedures, it's OUR JOB to do that homework. Even movie theaters and schools aren't safe.
