Why Cardinal Burke Did Not Lose the Cardinalate

On 3 June, Francesco Boezi claimed on IlGiornale.it that 'all observers agree on the role played by Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke in the last Conclave'.

Burke allegedly convinced Cardinal Timothy Dolan [Boezi writes: “Thimoty”], Cardinal Robert Sarah and Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller [Boezi writes: “Gherard”] to vote for Cardinal Prevost.

According to Boezi, under Francis, Cardinal Burke came close to losing the Cardinalate because he dared to criticise Pope Francis's errors and abuse of power.

However, the famous posters in Roman dialect then appeared around the Vatican, saying (2017): "A France', hai commissariato Congregazioni, rimosso sacerdoti, decapitato l’Ordine di Malta e i Francescani dell’Immacolata, ignorato Cardinali... ma n'do sta la tua misericordia?"

Translated: "Oh Francis, you have put Congregations under a commissioner, removed priests, decapitated the Order of Malta and the Franciscans of the Immaculate, and ignored Cardinals... but where is your mercy?"

Boezi claims that a pro-life journalist and his friends carried out this initiative, convincing the vindictive Francis not to remove Cardinal Burke's Cardinalate.
