Cardinal Robert Sarah wrote another statement on Twitter confirming that he spoke to Archbishop Georg Gänswein today (January 14).
Sarah writes that his statement about the making of the book on celibacy “remains my one and only version of the course of events.”
He informs that he talked to Fayard (the publisher) to implement Gänswein's specific requests, i.e. the removal of Benedict’s name and picture from the cover.
Thus, Sarah insists - contradicting Gänswein - that Benedict was aware of the plans for the book and of the manuscript including the book cover.
There is no reason, not to believe Sarah.
