“Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you, all things will pass away. God never changes; patience obtains all things, whoever has God lacks nothing. God alone suffices. Lift your mind upward, go up to heaven, be troubled by nothing, let nothing trouble you. Follow Jesus Christ with a big heart, and whatever happens, let nothing frighten you. Do you see the glory of the world? It's a vain glory; it has nothing stable; everything passes away. Aspire to the heavenly, which lasts forever; faithful and rich in promises, God never changes. Love Him as He deserves, immense Goodness; but there is no quality love without patience. Let trust and living faith sustain the soul; he who believes and hopes obtains everything. Even if hell assails him, he will thwart its favours, he who possesses God. Even if abandonment, crosses and misfortune come his way, if God is his treasure, he lacks nothing.
