"You will know them by their fruits" (The Medjugorje message is all about repenting (Sacrament of Reconciliation ) and conversion (Changing our wordy(Sinful) ways and returning to God). Millions of pilgrims who have visited Medjugorje have returned to daily prayer, regular Mass attendance, monthly confession, the setting up and participating in prayer groups also many vocations have been born as as a result of Medjugorje and many, many priests have felt a renewing of their own vocations. As a Catholic I fully believe in the supernatural so for Our lady to appear everyday for over 30 years I accept it as a gift and don't feel the need to dismiss the apparitions by limiting how many times she should appearing due to previous apparitions. The times we are in are why she is appearing so many times. So lets us continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us in these perilous times and thank God for sending us his mother to encourage us in our journey back to God. The visionary did not say Our Lady said the "the bishop would go to hell". Our Lady would not pass judgement on anyone, she leaves this to her son.

Why would Our Lady appearing everyday be a problem Michael? Our Lord makes himself available to us everyday in the Holy Eucharist not matter where we are?

Who are you to set limits for God almighty. Why did the Church not accept the rulings of the local Bishops? Why does the church not just condemn Medjugorje as being false if all you say is true?

This is because the Church is still considering the authenticity of the apparitions.
Our Lord told us to judge a tree by the fruit it produces. Medjugorje has helped millions of people all over the world turn back to God and encouraged people to confess their sins and pray every day. All good fruits.

If you are so obedient to the authority of the Church why have you passed judgement on Medjugorje before the Church has made her ruling?

Maybe you should start praying every day and maybe you will believe more in the supernatural gifts God bestows on us all. You always highlight the dreadful state so much of the world is in but yet to seem to doubt God would send his mother to help guide in these present times as he did in previous apparitions.

Why would 6 peasant children make up a story about seeing Our Lady in a communist country ( the youngest being 10 at the time) All the hardship and threats they had to endure including the hardship their own families also endured?

So for thirty years plus millions and millions of us have been fooled including scientists and psychologists who have not been able to disprove the apparitions.

I have watched many of your broadcasts and have agreed with many of your observations but Im afraid on this one you are WRONG.

Verdict on Medjugorje nears as Commission claims apparitions are “no hoax”

The dossier on the alleged apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje has been passed on to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The verdict could be positive albeit partial but no concrete decision has yet been reached

A verdict on the Medjugorje apparitions is not far off. The Mejugorje inquiry commission which was set up in March 2010 and is chaired by Cardinal Camillo Ruini has concluded its work. Fr. Federico Lombardi confirmed that the commission held its last meeting on Friday and the results of the inquiry will now be examined by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith headed by the Prefect Gerhard Müller.

All the material gathered, the interviews with the seers and many other witnesses, the stories told by the various people involved, expert reports and theological reflections on the messages, has been summarised in one final report and passed on to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith for a careful evaluation. The report will be studied alongside other documentation which the Congregation has gathered over the course of the years.

Vatican Insider has learnt that the Commission has focused mainly on the first phase of apparitions. There is apparently no proof of any tricks, hoaxes or abuse of popular credulity. However, it is proving difficult for the Church to form a definitive verdict on the supernatural nature of a phenomenon that is ongoing.

Of the six seers who reported apparitions in June 1981, when they were still children or in their teens, three claim that they still see daily apparitions of the “Queen of Peace” at the same time every afternoon, wherever they happen to be at the time. These seers are: Vicka (who lives in Medjugorje), Marija (who lives in Monza) and Ivan (who lives in the US but returns to his homeland often). A fourth seer, Mirjana, sees an apparition on the second day of each month.

The large volume of messages going round poses a problem for the Commission. As does the forecasting of supernatural signs and secrets which the seers have refused to share, even with Church authorities.

Some of the Commission’s members have highlighted the need for a change of pace in the provision of pastoral care to millions of faithful who come to Medjugorje from all over the world. The Commission and Cardinal Ruini himself thanks to visits by people close to him have noticed that people really are converting to the faith or returning to the sacraments – what the Church refers to as spiritual fruits – in a significant way.

But this alone does not a decision on the part of the Church with regard to the supernatural nature of the apparitions. In fact, over the past few months, Prefect Müller has cautioned bishops in the US to keep a close eye on meetings held by Medjugorje seers. These are often public meetings with lots of apparitions on the agenda. During last 14 November’s mass in St. Martha’s House, the Pope very eloquently said that Mary is a Mother "not a postmaster of the post office sending out messages every day." These words were addressed to those who continuously communicate messages and prophesies about the future.

The Bishop of Mostar, Ratko Peric, who also serves Medjugorje, is notoriously sceptical about the phenomenon, as was his predecessor. Then there is the age-long problem of the relations between the diocesan clergy and the Franciscan friars of Herzegovina at the time of the apparitions. A couple of solutions proposed in the recent past, have been to restore the old diocese of Trebinje so as to remove Medjugorje from the territory of the Mostar diocese or to create a Marian shrine that would be managed by a rector from another diocese.

Why did the Vatican not accept Bishop Zanics ruling then? why did the Vatican take over the investigation. Because the events at Medjugore are far to big for a Bishop to rule on that is why.

Here is another fruit of Medugorje for you to condemn marysmeals.org an organisation that was formed by a fellow Scotsman that was greatly influenced by Medjugore.

For you to include the massacres and mutilations under the "fruits" term is a disgrace.

Our Lady called for peace from day one as she did in the approved apparitions at Kibheo (ourladyappears.blogspot.ie/2013/05/kibheo.html) and look what happened when the people did not pay attention to her message.

The church has not yet ruled on Medjugorje yet you call me disobedient to the church yet you have already made up your mind before the church has even ruled.

You have mentioned the church attendance dwindling and vocations worldwide being down so this brings me back to the question. Why would God not send Our blessed Mother in these times why are you so unwilling to accept the supernatural.

Medjugorje is the cause of thousands of conversions and vocations to the priesthood.
Millions of pilgrims have experienced great peace and have had their faith renewed after attending a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.

The visionary's have spent the last 30 years meeting pilgrims and answering the same questions over and over again and spending time with pilgrims praying with them and encouraging them to turn to god.

The fruits being produced are good.

Surely If there was ever a time for God to send his blessed mother to us would it not be the times we are living in now?

Look around you. Look at the complete disregard for Gods Laws. The messages in Medjugore always point to confessing our sins, attending holy mass regularly, reading the bible and to continually pray with our hearts. Asking us to especially pray for our priests.
