On that day, this song will be sung in Judah: “A fortified city is our security; the Lord surrounds it with walls and ramparts. 2 Open its gates, that a righteous people may enter, a nation that keeps its word, 3 steadfast in its purpose; and you will keep it in peace, because it trusts in you. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is the Rock eternal. 5 He will bring down those who dwell on high, he will humble the proud city, laying it low, making it kiss the ground. 6 The feet of the poor will trample it down, the steps of the humble.”

Prayer for Thanksgiving Day
Lord God,
Thank you for all the graces you have granted us. We are grateful for the lives of all family and friends who are here today, and for those who cannot be.
Thank you for the gift of waking up each new day. Thank you, Lord, for showing us faith and the preciousness of life through the eyes of all those we love. Thank you for the nature that nourishes us and for the light of each new tomorrow.
Thank you for every meal you place on our table, thank you for giving us a roof and a safe home to shelter us and rest our tired bodies, and thank you for our work, our health, our love and unity.
Thank you, God, for always being present in our lives, watching over us and praying for us, guiding us and protecting us.
We give thanks to you, Lord our God, for all your blessings.
You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.

The 2024-2025 pastoral year, which ends this Friday, recorded an increase in pilgrims of around 4.6%, according to provisional data relating to the period between January 1st and October 31st, 2025. On November 29th, a new pastoral year begins at the Sanctuary of Fatima, with the theme "Grace and Mercy: Heart of Mary, Path to see God".
A Jubilee Year Lived Under the Sign of Hope
In Fatima, the experience of the 2024/25 pastoral year had as its central axis the Jubilee Year, lived under the guiding thread of hope. As a Jubilee Sanctuary, Fatima offered pilgrims the opportunity to experience this milestone in the Church in a unique way, with the possibility of obtaining plenary indulgence and participating in various special events and pilgrimages held within this context.

The Holy Shepherds of Fatima: Jacinta and Francisco Marto
Hoy recordamos con amor y gratitud a dos de los corazones más pequeños que, sin embargo, brillaron con la luz más grande: San Francisco y Santa Jacinta Marto, los pastorcitos de Fátima.
