I truly wish that we had Bishop Martino here... but we have a spineless one. Your bishop appears to stand up to the tough issues in a very Catholic way. However, while some Catholics whine over school closings and church closings.... do these same folks support contraception? Abortion? and all the rest of the problems? It is more importanrt to raise our children as Catholics than to have them educated in so-called Catholic schools by lay teachers who themselves scandalize church teachings.
