I don't get it. Why would the Pope necessarily have to genuflect in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Isn't he Peter's successor. When the Holy Sacrament was instituted, Peter and the other apostles were seated, having a meal together.

Hence, according to John's gospel, one chosen by God can is called friend: "You are my friends if you do what I command" Jn. 15, 14-15 We can clearly see in the news that Pope Francis kiss the foot of a young infirm. Can he behave like a friend since he follows what the Lord commands, since he follows what the Lord did? Is there anyone who genuflects in front of a friend?
