Yes, there exists many a Judas today... repeated failures... numerous attacks from unfaithful priests, but we should never lose our love for the priesthood. And in our love and zeal for the priesthood, we must guard ourselves from the mistake of attacking priests, bishops and popes themselves but rather only address there error of their ways and their teachings. St. Pius X put it like this: “Fight error, without touching the individual.” This requires we maintain a healthy clericalism. St. Jean Vianney: “After God, the priest is everything! ... Only in heaven will he fully realize what he is...
