Reality check: The militant English atheist Richard Dawkins appeared on “Real Time With Bill Maher” Friday night insisting he’s not a “militant” atheist. “Do you share my belief that Pope Frank is secretly an atheist,” Maher asked Dawkins. His answer: “Like many people, I’m sure that President Barack Obama is an atheist,” Dawkins said. “I’m sure Kennedy was an atheist. But I doubt Pope Frank is, no. He’s obviously a nice man, therefore a dangerous man. We don’t want nice men in the Vatican.”
The devil is at work: Four persons were injured Sunday morning at the Catholic Church of Assumption, Agboroko, Lagos as a black Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) lost control and rammed into the church during the morning mass and headed straight to the altar scattering chairs and hitting worshippers. Speaking after the incident, the parish priest, Fr. Pius Omefuma said ‘ The devil is at work. But no need to panic. God is in control.”
