Vatican Manipulates Bible

Cardinal Miguel Guixot writes In a May 1 Ramadan message that "a place of worship of any religion is ‘a house of prayer’ (Isaiah, 56, 7).”

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and a Muslim month of fasting. Guixot is the President of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious dialogue, and father of the anti-Christian Abu Dhabi Declaration.

He is misleading his readers, as Isaiah doesn't refer to random religious meeting-halls but to the Temple in Jerusalem which "will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

This prophecy is explained by Christ in John 2:19: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The new Temple of Jerusalem is a house of prayer for all nations and the Body of Christ which is the Church, according to Saint Paul: "You are the Body of Christ" (1 Cor 12:27).
