Francis Draws His Inspiration From Anti-Catholics Protestant Caricatures
Radical Catholic made an interesting point about Francis on Twitter.com (March 25): "Francis has a habit of taking some of the worst anti-Catholic, essentially Protestant caricatures of the Faith, and condemning them in front of the world.
This always comes across as an accusation against faithful Catholics rather than as a dismissal of those same Protestant caricatures – as he’s saying, e.g., ‘Yeah, the Prots are right. Catholics are tempted to worship Mary, and that’s bad.'
It’s like he’s trying to convert them by throwing us under the bus. I’s weird."
