No Priests: Seminary Produces "Lay Ecclesial Minsters"

New Orleans Archbishop Gregory Aymond, 70, announced that he commissioned eight women to be “LAY ECCLESIAL MINISTERS” for his archdiocese.

Aymond wrote on Facebook.com (January 27), that the ladies “have prepared for two years at Notre Dame Seminary.”

The picture shows them with the staff of the institute. "Lay ecclesial ministers" are also known as ""pastoral assistants."

Does anyone know what the role of these people will be exactly?
Ultraviolet
That's being left deliberately vague so it can be expanded from doing the readings to doing the sermons to "celebrating" Mass with pre-blessed and eventually "consecrating" un-blessed Hosts.

I thought they were women?

This is how Nawlins is going to establish de facto female priests. In ten years there won't be any functional difference between these imposters and real priests. And check out the butchy hair and baggy pants-suits on some of them. Yeesh.
