Ah, that's a solid reply. Oh, it was Paulie Gatto (the guy who took the canolis, lol) who was prying around the money at the wedding. Again, that scene is loaded with stuff anyone could easily miss.

Sure, that's why I dedicated a full section to what we can learn from these films. Nevertheless, it's done with an excessive level of unnecessary violence depiction. This would have never been allowed before the "anything goes" 2nd Vatican Council. Likewise, this business with showing topless women on screen wouldn't have, either. Why bother insisting that women dress modestly if we're just going to watch movies with them naked (a Jewish filmmaker novelty in the 1960s, by the way)? It's not hard to see how immodest films paved the way for progressively degenerate behavior among the population.
