Truth not wanted at the University of Victoria, British Columbia
Instead of honest debate, academic freedom and the search for truth, Professor Frances Widdowson was met by police and a mob to silence her. The latest injustice occurred at the University of Victoria, British Columbia. Here crime? She was charged with trespassing and not having permission to hold an event. The problem with both accusations is: they are outright lies. Widdowson was not holding an event and she was on public property as Canadian universities are funded with tax dollars. Widdowson was on campus December 2 to talk to students, staff and anyone who wished to engage in an open discussion. She wanted to engage about the unproven claim that 215 bodies were buried at the Kamloops Indian Residential school. Four years later and the mass graves story has proven to be nothing but a hoax.
