Türkische Luftwaffe bombardiert Städte in Nordsyrien und im Nordirak. Türkei: Zeit der Abrechnung ist gekommen. Auch Stellungen der syrischen Armee sollen angegriffen worden sein.
Die türkische Luftwaffe bombardiert zur Stunde die Autonomiegebiete von Nord- und Ostsyrien (AANES) sowie die Kurdistan-Region Irak (KRI). Betroffen von den Angriffen in Nordsyrien sind Städte im Grenzstreifen, darunter Kobanê, Tel Rifat, Dêrik, Zirgan und Dirbesiyê. Über Minbic und Qamişlo kreisen ebenfalls türkische Kampfflugzeuge. Allein auf das Zentrum von Kobanê sind binnen weniger Minuten mehrere Angriffswellen geflogen worden. Die Bombardements richteten sich auch gegen den Miştenûr-Hügel im Südosten von Kobanê, das Dorf Helincê und das Viertel Kaniya Kurda östlich der Stadt.
In Tel Rifat wurden unter anderem Bomben auf die Ortschaft Belûniyê abgeworfen. Dort befindet sich ein Auffanglager für Menschen aus Efrîn, die im Zuge des türkischen Angriffskrieges von 2018 vertrieben worden waren. Auch die nahegelegene Gemeinde Şêx Îsa sowie der Ort Şiwarxa im angrenzenden Kreis Şera im zerschlagenen Kanton Efrîn wurden aus der Luft bombardiert. Nach Angaben des Pressesprechers der Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens (QSD), Ferhad Şami, zielten Luftschläge auf die Gemeinde Zirgan (Abu Rasen), die östlich der bereits vollständig von der Türkei besetzten Stadt Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain) liegt, ebenfalls auf eine Vertriebenensiedlung sowie auf ein Weizensilo in Dehir Ereb, einem Ort im Norden der Region. Darüber hinaus wurden Militärposten von syrischen Regierungstruppen attackiert. Luftangriffe auf Regimekräfte werden auch aus Qizeli bei Girê Spî (Tall Abyad) und Tel Rifat gemeldet. Es habe mehrere Tote und Verletzte gegeben, die genaue Zahl ist unklar. Unter den Betroffenen sind syrische Soldaten. In Dêrik wird eine große Opferzahl befürchtet. Dort bombardierten Kampfjets der türkischen Armee gleich mehrfach den Ort Teqil Beqil in der Koçerat-Region (Einzugsgebiet Dêrik). Nach einer ersten Angriffswelle strömten Menschen aus der Zivilbevölkerung in den Ort, um möglichen Opfern zu helfen. Daraufhin setzte eine zweite Angriffswelle ein. Der Kontakt nach Teqil Beqil ist abgebrochen. Bisher zwölf Tote Bisher werden zwölf Todesopfer und Dutzende Verletzte infolge der Luftangriffe auf Rojava gemeldet. Bei mindestens sechs der Toten handelt es sich demnach um Menschen aus der Zivilbevölkerung. Luftschläge in Südkurdistan Im südlichen Kurdistan auf dem Staatsgebiet des Irak kommt es in den Regionen Qendîl und Asos zu türkischen Luftangriffen. Das Asos-Gebirge liegt etwa 60 Kilometer nördlich von Silêmanî und gut 200 Kilometer von der türkisch-irakischen Staatsgrenze im Grenzgebiet zu Iran und wurde in den letzten Wochen wieder häufig von der Türkei bombardiert. In den Qendîl-Bergen vermutet die türkische Staatsführung das Hauptquartier der PKK, frühere Luftangriffe richteten sich aber primär gegen die Zivilbevölkerung. Gesicherte Angaben über das Ausmaß der Attacken in der KRI liegen noch nicht vor. Über dem ezidischen Hauptsiedlungsgebiet Şengal kreisen ebenfalls türkische Kampfbomber. Türkische Streitkräfte: „Zeit der Abrechnung“ Die Türkei droht schon länger, eine weitere Invasion in Nordsyrien zu starten, um ihre illegale Besatzungszone auf alle anderen Städte im Grenzstreifen auszudehnen. Bisher erhielt die türkische Führung kein grünes Licht für neuerliche Massaker an Kurdinnen und Kurden. Das dürfte sich nun mit den Anschuldigungen Ankaras, für den Anschlag von Istanbul vor knapp einer Woche mit sechs Todesopfern seien die AANES und ihre Kampfverbände sowie die PKK verantwortlich, geändert haben. Die Selbstverwaltung, die YPG und PYD sowie zahlreiche weitere kurdische Organisationen hatten die Vorwürfe zurückgewiesen und davor gewarnt, dass die „haltlose Schuldzuweisung“ Vorwände schaffen solle, um Rojava erneut anzugreifen. Eine erste Stellungnahme der Türkei zu der Luftoffensive bestätigt die Vermutung: „Zeit der Abrechnung: Die Niederträchtigen werden für ihre verräterischen Angriffe zur Rechenschaft gezogen“, heißt es in einem Twitterbeitrag des türkischen Verteidigungsministeriums. In der KRI führt die türkische Armee bereits seit April eine völkerrechtswidrige Invasion durch. Grünes Licht aus den USA? Der Luftraum über Nordsyrien wird von Russland und den USA kontrolliert. Den Luftraum über dem Nordirak kontrollieren ebenfalls die Vereinigten Staaten. Ohne Zustimmung der Regierung in Washington geht selbstverständlich gar nichts.

The Turkish air force is currently bombing the autonomous areas of northern and eastern Syria (AANES) as well as the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). Affected by the attacks in northern Syria are towns in the border strip, including Kobanê, Tel Rifat, Dêrik, Zirgan and Dirbesiyê. Turkish warplanes are also circling over Minbic and Qamişlo. Several waves of attacks were flown on the centre of Kobanê alone within a few minutes. The bombardments also targeted Miştenûr Hill in the south-east of Kobanê, the village of Helincê and the neighbourhood of Kaniya Kurda east of the city.

The Turkish leadership suspects that the PKK headquarters are in the Qendîl Mountains, but earlier air attacks were primarily directed against the civilian population. There is no reliable information on the extent of the attacks in the KRI. Turkish fighter-bombers are also circling over the main Yezidi settlement area of Şengal. Turkey has been threatening for some time to launch another invasion of northern Syria to extend its illegal occupation zone to all other towns in the border strip. So far, the Turkish leadership has not been given the green light for renewed massacres of Kurds. This is now likely to have changed with Ankara's accusations that AANES and its combat units as well as the PKK were responsible for the attack in Istanbul almost a week ago, which claimed six lives. An initial statement by Turkey on the air offensive confirms the suspicion: "Time of reckoning: the perfidious will be held accountable for their treacherous attacks," reads a Twitter post by the Turkish defence ministry. In the KRI, the Turkish army has already been carrying out an invasion in violation of international law since April. Green light from the USA? The airspace over northern Syria is controlled by Russia and the USA. The airspace over northern Iraq is also controlled by the United States. Without the consent of the government in Washington, of course, nothing works.
ANHA's said that Turkish occupation army warplanes targeted Damascus government position in the village of Tal Harmal, north of the Zarghan district, no casualties were reported.In addition, a similar bombing targeted Damascus forces in the area of Tel Rifat, Shuhba district, resulting in loss of life and injury to others.
