In the morning of May 2, Przemyśl Auxiliary Bishop Krzysztof Chudzio, Poland, was consecrated in the diocesan cathedral.
President Andrzej Duda sent his congratulations. Among other things, he wished him “health.”
Around twenty bishops, fifty priests, many seminarians, nuns, and lay-people participated at the liturgy, although the church was formally closed.
Little sanitary distancing was respected. The only ones wearing masks were two cameramen and the nuns.
