What happened in Palermo a few days ago was not reported in any newspaper, not on any TV news, because no one knew about it. Well, in the tram, in one of the last seats, a man was sitting and he was holding his little daughter on his lap. When the tram started, a teenage boy with a bible in his hand said: - I have to tell you all what Jesus is telling us today ... Everyone started looking around, there were not many people on the tram. The man with the child, clearly nervous, shouted: - Be quiet! The boy was silent, but after a moment he repeated: - I have to tell you that Christ wants us to take the Gospel seriously. The man shouted again, "Stop, be quiet!" No one on the tram reacted. The teenage boy was silent for a while, but then he started preaching the Gospel again. Then the man who was shushing him sat down his daughter, got up and angrily walked towards the boy: - Now, I will silence you!!! Then an extraordinary thing happened. The little girl cried out, "Daddy, please don't hit him!" Her father turned to her and fell to the floor crying loudly. No one knew that God had performed a miracle, because the child was deaf and mute from birth. The man was angry with God, annoyed him - as he later said - even the sound of bells and every word about God. Then, on that tram in Sicily, the Holy Spirit came with His great healing power, and everyone got the answer that God was really speaking to us. There were few witnesses to this event, but people pass on the news of it. Let this be our meditation for today: wherever I am, whatever I do, wherever I go, God still speaks.
