Chicago Seminary: Alleged Homosex Scandal Unearthed

Dr Denis McNamara, who taught a decade (2009-2019) history of architecture at Mundelein Seminary near Chicago engaged in "inappropriate" homosexual behaviour with adult seminarians who, however, were old and strong enough to decide whether they wanted to go along with it or not.

The alleged incidents took place during and after McNamara's time at Munderlein. This was announced on March 27 by Father John Kartje, the seminary’s rector, in a circular, reports PillarCatholic.com.

McNamara is also known as the host of the “Liturgy Guys” podcast, which was discontinued on March 3.

Rector Kartje “deeply appreciates” that the men have [finally?] reported these matters. Mundelein Seminary sent the information to McNamara's current employer, Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.

As a result, McNamara was placed on administrative leave on March 3 because of "such a serious lapse of judgment.” He resigned on March 9.

Robert "Hell might be empty" Barron was rector at Mundelein from 2012 - 2015. It is highly unlikely that an "intellect" like Barron would be unaware that this deviancy was taking place right under his nose.

If this behaviour by these adult seminarians was totally consensual, then are they now going to abide by the Vatican's 1961 Religiosorum Institutio | EWTN and 2005 Criteria for the Discernment of Vocation for Persons with Homosexual Tendencies instructions, stating that homosexuals cannot be ordained, or have they sneakily waited to be ordained before exposing Dr McNamara?

What better way to destroy the Church than to fill it with homosexuals? Satan is very, very pleased

Major seminarians are in their twenties, as you imply with the words "adult seminarians.". So McNamara is in trouble for what is certainly consensual homosexual behavior. That is really a very good sign -- imagine, a homo is in big trouble for homo acts. Dignum et justum est.

We lived near the seminary back in the mid 1970s and heard "talk" about the College back then.

This was going on through Bishop Barron’s tenure as rector.
