Cardinal Burke: Failure of the Church’s Pastors

Talking on May 19 at the “Rome Life Forum” Cardinal Raymond Burke recalled the demand of Our Lady of Fatima (1917) to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart. Burke stated that Pope John Paul II fulfilled this demand only in an implicit way.

In the same talk the Cardinal noticed a “failure of the Church’s pastors” to teach the Catholic faith. Burke criticised their “superficial, confused or even worldly approach”.
