Conversion, Priestly Ordination, Marriage

The Vatican has laicised Alex Crow, 30, a convert who was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Mobile in 2021.

Crow was celebrated as a speaker, wore a cassock and was involved in demonology and exorcisms.

But in early 2023, he fled to Italy with a girl on her 18th birthday. Last autumn, the police announced that allegations of seduction of minors could not be confirmed.

Upon their return to the United States, the couple entered into a civil marriage. It remains to be seen whether Crow will show more perseverance in this new venture.

With a prayer for his spiritual safety, the salvation of his soul, I say a heartfelt "goodbye" to this scandalous laicised priest.
