He knows full well. As for Wuhan, we have a lot of those labs elsewhere, because nobody wants them here. The rules are more lax. The problem then becomes...China steals our data. The same thing happened in Ukraine, which is one of the reasons Russia went after it.

No one seems to ask the question why the research ended up in Wuhan with the US funding it... Could it be that the Defense Dept. sent a letter to a certain US lab telling them to stop doing gain of function research as they were in violation of international bioweapons treaties? Prolly not. :>/
